Haptic Hubcap
Industrial precision in the palm of your hand. Where the Cheese Wheel leans playful, the Haptic Hubcap is a tribute to pure industrial design.
Join the Drop List
Batch Alpha is 100 units, dropping Summer 2026. The first 10 sales are serialized #1–10 as a collector edition — drop list gets priority checkout, so earliest signups have the best shot.
Engineered for those who appreciate the beauty of a well-machined part—one that looks like it was pulled straight from the assembly of a high-performance machine.
The aesthetic is defined by radial symmetry and clean, purposeful lines. The face of the Hubcap features concentric machining grooves that catch the light with every rotation, mimicking the center-lock wheels found on the world's most iconic cars. Substantial yet refined, a mechanical instrument designed for heavy-duty daily carry.
One Tool. Two Dimensions of Play.
The Haptic Hubcap isn't just a slider, and it isn't just a coin. We've engineered it to provide a seamless transition between two distinct tactile experiences:
The Rotation: Experience the smooth, weightless spin of a high-end haptic coin. The radial grooves provide just enough grip for effortless one-handed manipulation.
The Slide: With a simple shift in pressure, the Hubcap transforms into a linear slider, offering a crisp, mechanical click that resonates through the Grade 5 Titanium body.
Snap to Stealth™ Technology
At the heart of the Hubcap is our patented Snap to Stealth™ toggle. We know that the environment you're in dictates how you fidget. This internal mechanism allows you to manually adjust your experience:
Snap Mode: For when you want that deep, satisfying haptic feedback and acoustic thunk that only precision-machined titanium can produce.
Stealth Mode: For the office, the flight, or the quiet couch—a completely silent, smooth-as-glass tactile resistance that lets you focus without making a sound.
Built for the Modular Future
As part of the Grade 5 Materials ecosystem, the Haptic Hubcap is a fully modular platform. The internal core is designed to be swappable, allowing you to mix and match toggles and components across our product line.
Machined from a solid block of Grade 5 Titanium and powered by N52 Neodymium magnets, the Haptic Hubcap is an obsession with detail you can feel in every click, spin, and slide.
Questions
When does the drop go live?
Batch Alpha is 100 units, dropping Summer 2026. The first 10 sales are serialized #1–10 as a collector edition; units 11–100 are numbered too, same spec. Drop list members get the announcement and priority checkout window before anyone else. Once Alpha sells out, later batches (if any) won't be guaranteed at the same spec or price.
What's the deal with the serialized #1–#10 pieces?
The first 10 sales from Batch Alpha are serialized #1–10 as a collector edition. Units 11–100 are numbered too — same spec — they're just not part of the collector run. Order matters: drop list gets priority checkout, so the earlier you sign up, the better your shot at one of the #1–10 collector pieces.
Why Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V)?
Grade 5 is the aerospace-grade titanium alloy used in jet engines and surgical implants. It's ~40% lighter than steel, essentially corrosion-proof, and machines to tolerances that make magnetic detent feel absurdly precise. The whole product exists because cheaper alloys feel wrong in the hand.
How loud is Snap Mode? Can I use it in an office?
Snap Mode is deliberately acoustic — you'll hear and feel the titanium-on-titanium engage. That's the whole point. Stealth Mode is the silent counterpart and is what you'd run during meetings or on a flight.
Is this compatible with the Haptic Hubcap?
Yes. Both products share the same internal platform — toggles, cores, and a subset of plates are swappable between them. Owning both means you can mix components to build a setup that's uniquely yours.
Where do you ship?
Worldwide. Shipping cost and timing are calculated at checkout and vary by destination. Drop list members get shipping details with the drop announcement.
Returns / warranty?
Every piece is inspected before it ships. Manufacturing defects are covered — reach out and we'll make it right. Because these are made-to-order limited batches, general returns are handled case-by-case.
