The Pursuit of a Different
Kind of Carry.
Grade 5 Materials started because I felt something was missing in the EDC world. While there is plenty of high-quality gear out there, it often felt like we were choosing between the same few designs. I wanted to build something that didn't just use premium materials, but introduced a completely differentiated way to interact with the objects we carry every day.
Modular by Design
My focus is on creating modular platforms, not just standalone products. I believe your gear should be able to grow and change with you, which is why I've prioritized a design language based on swappable components. Whether you're upgrading a core or switching out a toggle, the goal is a personalized experience that feels uniquely yours.
Snap to Stealth™
This obsessive focus on quality and differentiation led to the development of the Snap to Stealth™ toggle. I wanted to solve a common problem: sometimes you want the satisfying, mechanical click of a haptic coin, and other times—in a meeting or a quiet room—you need a silent, tactile escape. This patented internal mechanism allows you to switch between a noisy haptic mode and a completely quiet stealth mode with a single adjustment.
Two Dimensions of Play
Beyond the sound, I wanted to change the feel. Most fidgets do one thing well. Our platform offers two dimensions of play:
Rotation: A smooth, satisfying spin reminiscent of the best haptic coins.
Sliding: A crisp, linear movement that provides the mechanical feedback of a high-end slider.
The Standard
Everything we produce is machined to zero-tolerance standards from Grade 5 Titanium. It's an obsession with the details—the materials, the mechanics, and the modularity—that defines what we do here.
This is gear built for people who appreciate the engineering as much as the aesthetic.
